An Evening Walk by Lake Saimaa

 So once we had settled into our little home from home and had a bite to eat we went off for a walk in the area our accommodation was set. We wanted to enjoy the peace and stillness, as well as suss out where the rowing boats were for the next day. It was a beautiful evening, with a soft gold glow of sunset and very little breeze, just enough to ruffle the lake at the edges and give us the occasional gentle splish-splash.

Had we but known it, it was the calm before the storm, but we didn't so we really enjoyed the walk.
