And I'm back!

I'm also knackered, determined never ever to use the Aberdeen ferry route again (just too long) and supposedly not doing anything useful, or even vaguely energetic, for the rest of the week. Or at least today. Or definitely until after lunch. You can see how that's panning out - not.

More tomorrow. After I've dealt with all the admin that has piled up in my absence. And when I say piled ....

  2. I concluded some years back that, when travelling to and from your fair isles, I prefer to drive to the top and fall onto the Pentalina rather than wend my way to Aberdeen on a horrid main road and spend hours on a rather boring ferry!! And I LOVE sailing as well.

    1. Yes that's what we do when travelling by car, with the bonus that the Pentalina sails from very close to where we live. And I used to do a Pentalina/bus combo when travelling south alone. However Stagecoach in its wisdom has seen fit to cancel the bus that used to meet the Pentalina and take you to Inverness. Somehow you now need to magic yourself the 20 miles to Wick to catch the Inverness bus....
